Korean skincare tips are more focused on improving the overall health of your skin by keeping your skin hydrated and providing the right ingredients in the right way.

Makeup remover and oil cleanser

The first step is makeup remover and oil cleanser. Here oil cleanser is used as a makeup remover. Sometimes you can remove the makeup with muscular water and then wash your face with a cleanser. This step cleans the face of makeup, trapped external dust—dirt, excess sebum, SPF—everything. Natural oils like jojoba oil, macadamia oil, grapeseed oil, olive oil, coconut oil are mostly used as ingredients in cleansers.

Water based/natural cleansers

The second step is to wash the face with a water-based cleanser. Even after cleansing the skin with an oil cleanser, some dirt may remain on the face. This is the use of water based cleaners. It cleans deep into the skin. Generally, in this step, you can use face wash according to your skin type. Apart from this, you can make a natural cleanser at home if you want. Honey, sour curd, oat milk is very good ingredients as cleansers. By mixing rose water with molten mud can make a natural cleanser.

Exfoliators are used to remove dead skin cells and clean pores. Do not use Exfoliants on the skin more than twice a week. And it is very easy to make at home. Just mix any oil with salt or sugar or half broken coffee beans. Massage the face well for a while. Then wash with normal water.

After double cleansing and exfoliation, the skin becomes quite dry. The fourth step is to use a toner to restore moisture to the skin and increase blood circulation. It maintains the pH balance of the skin. Making a toner at home like an Exfoliator is quite easy. As a toner, you can use cucumber juice, rose water, rice washing water, currant juice, apple cider vinegar etc. You can mix vitamin E capsules with it for extra nutrition.

Essence is a very lightweight product that is a combination of toner and serum. Its main function is to moisturize the skin and make it glow from within. Most of the essences available in the market are plant based. Like toner, You have to choose your skin type.

This step is very important. As we take medicine when we are sick, this step uses serum or ampoule to solve the skin problem. There are serums and ampoules for everything—excess skin dryness, oiliness, acne, rashes, pigmentation, wrinkles. Serum is a very light liquid. And the ampoule is a little heavier than the serum and contains more active ingredients than the serum. It is known as skin medicine. If the skin has problems like excessive oiliness, dryness, acne, rash or wrinkles, Then you must use the serum. It will work, even if it is not applied to normal skin. Serum should be made by understanding the type of skin problem.

Dry skin: One spoon of aloe Vera gel, one spoon of rose water, vitamin E capsule

Oily skin: Lemon juice, cucumber juice.

Acne or rash: Neem leaf juice, little turmeric juice, rose water.

Wrinkles: Cucumber juice, currant juice, vitamin E capsules.

Sheet mask

Korean skincare can’t be thought of without a sheet mask. Its popularity is skyrocketing in almost every country. One of the reasons is accessibility. Sheet masks are also very easy to use. No need to wash it off after application. This mask made of various natural ingredients plays a special role in maintaining the health of the skin. Masks are available for all skin types. 15 to 20 minutes twice a week at night is sufficient. But there is no harm in using it daily.

Eye cream

The skin under the eyes needs extra care. Because of it is the driest part of the skin. Everyone should use an eye cream to reduce dark spots, puffiness, and wrinkles under the eyes. Make homemade eye cream by mixing one spoon of aloe Vera gel, one spoon of olive oil or coconut oil, and half spoon of glycerin, one vitamin E capsule and one primrose oil capsule.

Protecting your skin from the sun’s dangerous UV rays is essential, while preventing sunburn, dark spots, fine lines, etc. Once you have completed all these steps, apply sunscreen. A study suggests that you should use a sunscreen product with at least SPF 30 because the face is the most delicate part of the skin and cosmetics should be used with care.

Use a night moisturizer as the last step of your skin care routine. It seals in all the ingredients and allows your skin to soak everything up throughout the night, leaving skin soft and smooth.

This is the Korean skin care routine. Follow these steps twice in the morning and at night to achieve the desired youthful healthy skin.

Regardless of your age, your skin is always on your mind. You always try to keep your skin glowing. Regardless of the form of this effort, in most cases systematic errors remain.
